CHOICE ACCOMMODATIONS AT BOCA RATON RESORT & CLUB Five Charming Hotels Rolled into One Legendary Resort
|
BOCA RATON, Fla. - 2006 - If Addison Mizner, Boca Raton Resort & Club's legendary architect and
founder, were alive today, he would undoubtedly be pleased to see how his vision of a "grand village"
evolved over the course of more than 75 years. Since its opening in 1926, the Resort & Club's
accommodations have expanded from 100 rooms in the original Cloister to a total of 1,043 rooms and
suites housed in the renovated Cloister and an assortment of contemporary buildings - the Tower,
Boca Beach Club, Boca Bungalows and Yacht Club. These five distinctly different settings allow guests
an extensive choice of accommodations with varying styles, décor and view, while enjoying one consistently
high standard of service.
Luxury and Serenity Times Five: Accommodations at the Boca Raton Resort & Club
The Cloister has achieved landmark status as Boca Raton Resort & Club's original structure.
It features 359 deluxe rooms. Mizner's love of Spanish-Mediterranean, Moorish and Gothic styles of
architecture is reflected both inside the building and out, with adornments that include hidden tropical
gardens, barrel tile roofs, archways, ornate columns, finials, intricate mosaics, sparkling fountains and
beamed ceilings of ornate pecky cypress. Guest rooms within the Cloister have been redesigned with subdued,
sophisticated colors. Special attention has been paid to replicating each room's historic details and
maintaining the original Mizner style.
Yacht Club, which opened in February 2002, majestically presides over the Intracoastal Waterway. Eight stories
tall, it boasts 112 deluxe guest rooms and suites, butler service, a concierge lounge and a marina with 32 slips
for yachts up to 170 feet in length. Each of the boutique hotel's 100 guest rooms and 12 suites has a private
balcony overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, while sweeping views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic
Ocean can be seen from rooms on the fifth to eighth floors. Rooms are distinctively appointed with custom-designed
furnishings and accessories such as Venetian-style canopied beds and carved gold-leaf lamps. Specially commissioned
artwork adorns the walls.
The Yacht Club's eighth-floor concierge level - the Commodore Club - has a private lounge with a staff that can coordinate
arrangements of every kind and level of detail - from airline ticketing to translation services and customized vacation
itineraries. Yacht Club guests are entitled to complimentary meal presentations that include continental breakfast,
afternoon tea, dinner hors d'oeuvres and late evening cocktails. The lounge is accessible to seventh floor guest as well.
